Ricchetti

Remo Ricchetti, a mechanical engineer, has always worked on non-conventional technologies. Among his most important experiences is his collaboration from 2002 to 2010 with the PERCRO laboratory (PERCeptual RObotics) at the Scuola Sant’Anna where he worked on haptic interfaces for virtual reality environments and simulators. For some time the Percro laboratory has been exploring the intersection between digital technologies and art, in particular for museum uses and for web access to works of art. From 2008 to 2013 he worked with InteractionDesign Lab where he took part in the design and construction of the Tecnologic@mente Museum of the Capellaro Foundation (Olivetti Museum) and Naples’ PLART museum.
He also participated in determining the technologies and concept of the digital section of Florence’s Museo degli Innocenti. He works as a consultant and designer (MaterialConneXion Italia, Expo2015, and the Giulio Einaudi Foundation being his most recent collaborations). He is teaching Digital Modelling Techniques for the second year at the NABA [New Academy of Fine Arts] School of Design (Milan).
