Matteo Bianchini is a primary teacher at the “Scuola-Città Pestalozzi” in Florence. At this institution he is head of education and tuition and internships and helps coordinate, on behalf of his school, both the MIUR “Scuol@ 2.0″ project and the experimental, ministry-approved project “dalla scuola laboratorio alla wikischool” (from the school lab to wikischool).
He is a supervisor at the Department of Education Sciences and Psychology at the University of Florence, where he taught for several years. He is an education coordinator at the Comune of Florence, has a degree in History and Philosophy and is also a family mediator.
He collaborates with various school magazines and is interested in philosophy for children and in relationships and emotions in upbringing. He has recently become interested in teaching coding to primary school children. Matteo is a curious type who likes to play; in fact, he’s realised that he can’t go back to being a child and that being a teacher really is his perfect job.
