Giovanni Lombardo lectures Social Responsibility of Small and Medium Sized Businesses on the Ethics of Economics course at the University of Genoa. Giovanni has a PhD in applied economics and quantitative methodologies, has been a visiting PhD student at the IESE Business School (Spain) and has also taught stakeholder engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR). He has been awarded a research grant in Engineering Management at the Polytechnic at the University of Genoa, where he studies energy efficiency, ICT 2.0, impact assessments, social-ROI and the social responsibility of for-profit businesses, banks, the voluntary sector, cooperatives and schools. He has taught business valuation (assessing interest, business plans), renewable energy and Hi-tech. He works with regional and ministerial public administrations. He is the author of software, publications and essays and is on the board of the EBEN (European Business Ethics Network – Italian chapter), member of the Scientific Committee for the Centre for Business Strategies for the Common Good, of the Scientific Committee for “neXt” and of the Scientific Committee for the CSR and Innovation Fair (Milan).
