Engineer Ernesto Santini

A graduate in Electronic Engineering from Milan Politecnico, Ernesto first worked for Honeywell ISI in Pregnana Milanese in the sector of VLSI standards and became an expert in the fields of automation and data networks. Since 1990 he has been working for Bticino: he is involved in the development of products and electronic systems for machinery, particularly those based on domotic technologies, in the domains of security, lighting, energy control, telephone communication and audio-video.

He is an active member of different standardisation bodies and the author of countless articles published in the specialised-domain press. For the past 10 years he has been at the helm of the Unità di Erba, combining the design and production of electronic products featured in Bticino and Terraneo catalogues. Since 2007 he has been Director of Development for Residential Electronic Systems for Legrand (Bticino is part of the Legrand Group). In June 2014 he was nominated Director of Technologies and System Architectures for the Legrand Group.
