Emanuele has spent the past 8 years working as a strategist, programme manager, consultant and blogger. He blogs about how collaborative approaches can increase productivity and efficiency and improve an organisation’s ability to react to changes in the market and see the potential to innovate, whatever their size.

Emanuele has co-authored the books Social Business Manifesto and Marketing 2.0 for HBR Italia, Community Management for Apogeo, Intranet 2.0 for Hoepli and Web 2.0 for Il Sole 24 Ore. He has also published articles about change management, cultivating online communities, Enterprise 2.0 strategies and Social CRM and socialising business processes for leading professional magazines in Italy. In late 2013 he put together the Social Collaboration Survey, the first quantitative study into best practice for Social Enterprises in Italy.
Often invited as a speaker and chairman, Emanuele has given presentations at, among others, the Thought Leader Conference (Berlin), SocialNow (Lisbon), the Social Business Strategy Summit (London), the Enterprise 2.0 Summit (Paris and Frankfurt), the Enterprise 2.0 Conference IDC, the EURO Information Architecture Summit (Berlin), the Information Architecture Summit (Las Vegas) and many other local events discussing Enterprise 2.0 and Social Business. Previously, Emanuele created and launched Netwo.it (the first hub for web 2.0 start-ups), Summit Italiano di Architettura dell’Informazione, Web 2.0ltre, the International Forum on Enterprise 2.0 and the Social Business Forum.
