My name is Daniel Tarozzi, I have a degree in Communication Sciences, I have worked as a screenwriter, a documentary director, videomaker and chiefly as a journalist. In 2004 I founded (with Francesca Giomo) the online newspaper “Terranauta”, which I edited until June 2010. In September 2010 I founded (with Paolo Ermani) “Il Cambiamento” which I edited until November 2013. Throughout my years in journalism I have come into contact with a lot of real “changes” that are taking place across Italy, changes which are not being documented by the media. I understood that “it was up to me” to tell these stories, to bring them together in one place, to debate them. And so the “Viaggio nell’Italia che cambia” (Journey across a Changing Italy) project began: seven months in a camper van to meet “the people who took their lives in their own hands without waiting for somebody else to do it for them”.
