Chiara Evangelista

Chiara Evangelista is a researcher at the Perceptual Robotics Laboratory at the TECIP Institute at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa where she designs and implements ICT applications to be used for education and communication in relation to cultural heritage. More specifically, her work concerns the various aspects of Computer Graphics, 3D modelling and research into pedagogic methods based on new technologies, particularly immersive virtual environments. Chiara Evangelista is one of the founders, and is currently head, of the cultural association Mnemosyne Cultura Digitale whose mission is to spread culture, particularly scientific and technological culture. For Mnemosyne she has run countless projects, including the multimedia installation at the Polittico in Simone Martini, the Lapidazione di Santo Stefano and the 3D model of the Madonna di San Luca. She has authored/co-authored over 20 conference papers and publications in international science magazines.
