Andrea-Berton

Andrea Berton achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2007. He has worked at CNR (National Research Council) since 2007 as Technical Manager of the cyclotron system at the Institute of Clinical Physiology (process automation activities, production of radionuclides from cyclotrons and maintenance of cyclotrons for medical purposes).

In 2013 he proposed to CNR the idea of setting up a workgroup (“Fly & Sense”) in order to develop a system for the real time viewing and acquisition of air data with the aim to provide permanent support and meet CNR’s most diverse research needs. He built SARP (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) for Pisa’s CNR Research Area.
He has been the coordinator of the “Fly & Sense” Group and SARP Pilot since 2014. He organises the experimental activities requested by ENAC (National Civil Aviation Authority) for flight authorisation procedures.
