Alessio L.R. Pennasilico, Security Evangelist at Alba ST, known in the underground hacker world as -=mayhem=-, is an internationally renowned expert in information security.
An enthusiastic Internet citizen, Alessio dedicates his time to improving others’ perceptions of problems relating to security, privacy and technology, as well as to preventing or fighting known or unconventional information attacks.
He has been taking part in the most swanky security events in Italy and abroad for years and has run seminars throughout Europe and across the pond. Moreover, he collaborates with various universities and research projects. Alessio is on the board and the technical-scientific committee of Clusit, on the National Steering Committee for the Professional Association of Computer Scientists (AIP) and on the Executive Committee for the Privacy and Information Security Watchdog (OPSI-AIP).
