I am a freelance journalist, data scientist and web developer. After graduating in physics from the Sapienza University of Rome, I obtained a Masters degree in Communication of Science at SISSA in Trieste and began a journey round Italy involving newspapers, press offices and pure research.

I worked in the communications office of LENS in Sesto Fiorentino, I am the co-founder of dataninja.it and datamediahub.it and am currently collaborating as a freelancer with a variety of Italian journals (Wired, L’Espresso, Il Tirreno, Il Secolo XIX) and certain publishing agencies in the field of data journalism and web development. I am engaged in a variety of activities including vocational training with various regional orders of journalists (Emilia-Romagna, Basilicata, Umbria), post-university education with the Universities of Ferrara and Turin and the organisation of training events with the Internazionale Festival and the International Festival of Journalism of Perugia.

I am an active member of the Spaghetti Open Data community, am involved in various civil activism projects in connection with open data and open hardware and now write almost more in javascript and python than in Italian or English.
