The Internet of Things means that our future world will offer boundless opportunities! The worlds of mobility, entertainment, domotics, gaming, fi tness and any other industry will drastically change. This development marathon brings together talented coders, hackers, enthusiasts, makers, students and researchers who are ready to work on one of the most important topics of the future, that is, how to make everyday objects alive. This reality is not far off and we’ve got to be ready for it.
Friday 10th October

- 10:00 Keynote Talk 1 Prof. Paul Verschure – “The situated aesthetics of human-machine symbiosis” (SPECS lab, Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona Spain). First floor room of the SMS, with translation and live streaming
- 11:00 Businesses and support agencies (CNA, ABB, HOLONIX, IONtrading)
- 11:30 Presentation of the prizes and the challenges
- 12:00 Description of the different ways of working followed by presentations from the businesses and hackers (5 minute presentations for businesses with technologies, 3 minutes for hackers)
- 14:00 Work starts
- 16:00 Keynote Talk 2 Prof. Luigi Atzori (Social Internet of Things, University of Cagliari)
