Out of all the areas in the planning sector, design is certainly the most liberal, the most creative, the most representative of contemporary culture, the most dynamic and in step with the times. Design has developed new methods including Design Discourse, Design Driven, User-Centred Design, Design for All and Sustainable Design, perfecting tools and methods that are spreading to and being used by other areas in the planning sector.

The individual, their aspirations and their dreams are at the heart of design.
Design is therefore understood to be a release from the project, from the value of the project, from the value
of the plans, from the graphic mark stamped on objects surrounding us.

The installation Le Carte del Design (Design Papers) features 240 projects that were conducted for the dissertation part of the degree programmes Industrial Design and Design.
Compressed onto large pieces of papers, the collection of these projects offers an evocative look at the relationship that exists between design, research and innovation.
