Originally Francesco Inguscio is from Venice but vocationally he’s committed to an urban nomadic lifestyle. In his 32 years he has developed a great passion for and accrued extensive experience in the world of innovation. In Silicon Valley he was the managing director of Business Development for the incubator start-up M31 USA, business development manager for USMAC and dealflow manager for the business angel network The Angels’ Forum. He has also been a partner at Enlabs, an incubator for software start-ups in Rome, and a consultant for IBM GBS, Accenture Business Consulting and Prometeia.
After a collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa, where he completed a Master in Innovation Management cum laude, he attained a Master in Technology Entrepreneurship from the Santa Clara University thanks to a Fulbright BEST grant. In 2010 he won the start-up competition Mind The Bridge at Stanford with VRMedia, a spin-off of the Sant’Anna idea and one of the first start-ups he ever supported.
He graduated in Finance cum laude from the University of Padua. He is currently “rainmaker & CEO” of the venture accelerator Nuvolab and cultivator of the “rainforest” of Italian innovation. Capitalising on his previous experience, he seeks to ensure that no business dries up on ideas and that nobody feels that their (entrepreneurial) journey is a trek through the desert.
