Maria Vittoria Cubellis was born in Naples the 31/07/1959 and is married and has three children.

Maria Vittoria Cubellis works and teaches in the biology department at the “Federico II” University of Naples, where she collaborates on a permanent basis with the CNR’s Dr. Andreotti.
Maria Vittoria Cubellis graduated in chemistry at Naples in 1983 before completing a PhD in biochemistry. She attained a position as a university researcher in 1990 and then as an associate professor of biochemistry in 2001 at the “Federico II” University.

She works in the domains of biochemistry and bioinformatics, a specialisation that today directs her experimental work into rare diseases.
