Scientificast is the first independent podcast dedicated to science in Italy.
Established in 2007, the podcast aims to bring scientific information, news and concepts to a passionate public in a simple yet rigorous way.
In March 2012 Scientificast became a Cultural Association for the promotion of science. Its main communication tools are blogging and podcasts, but Scientificast also makes the most out of their collaborators from the worlds of research and science promotion.
In 2014 Scientificast was awarded the Best Podcast on the Italian web at the Macchianera Italian Awards at the Web Festival.
