Pietro Raitano is a freelance journalist. He has been writing about the economy, media and sustainability since 2000. From 2007 he has edited the monthly magazine Altreconomia, a major publication containing independent economic analysis and with a focus on sustainable and fair economies. He has penned many essays including “Paura del buio” (Fear of the Dark), “Rose&lavoro” (Roses&work), “Il mestiere della libertà” (The profession of freedom) and “Lo speculatore inconsapevole” (The ignorant speculator). Pietro has a degree in Sociology and Political Science.
He is 39 years old and works in Milan where he lives with his wife and two children.
