Maria GAGLIARDI
Associate professor of Private Law at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa.
She graduated in Jurisprudence from the University of Pisa and got her PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Florence.
Previously a Research Fellow at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and Researcher in Comparative Private Law at the same establishment, she has been scientific and administrative manager of the ministerial research funds for young researchers, as well as scientific and administrative director of various research projects at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
She is also a lecturer in the Economics Department of the University of Pisa and on many Masters courses and advanced training courses, and has been a speaker at national and international conferences. She has written a monograph, a number of essays and comments on sentences, and is co-author of national reports within the framework of international projects. Her main areas of research and teaching activity are: insurance law, legal profiles of the information society and new technologies, the law on civil responsibility, risk management in the health services, and caring for people in private law.
