55-year old Marco Magrini is a Florence-based journalist. After twenty-four years as correspondent for Il Sole 24 Ore, he went back to working as a freelance journalist for Italian and English newspapers.

His main focus is technological innovation and sustainability (he is currently writing his third book on sustainability).

He has been a regular of digital networks as far back as the time of the acoustic coupler.
