Jacopo Cirillo was born in Faenza, studied semiotics in Bologna and lives in Milan. He has worked for various communications agencies, for RCS (Bravacasa, Rizzoli Libri, Lei TV) and recently has been writing screenplays for Topolino and collaborating with editorial staff on Internet events and projects.

In 2008 he founded a literature site, Finzioni that, according to Wikio, is the best Italian site for literature, and he organises literary presentations and events in Milan.
