Francesca Casula was born in 1978 and has a classical studies academic background. She is the youngest among the seven founding members of Lìberos, and association founded with the scope of merging opportunities and meeting the needs of all segments of the book publishing chain. Within this framework she promotes the needs and requirements of publishers, having been for years head of the publishing house Aìsara.
Her education as a librarian and her experience as founder of a cultural association in Cagliari for the promotion of reading both reinforce her attention to the needs of these segments of the publishing industry. Vita magazine listed her among one of the one-hundred under-35 young talents who will change Italy.
Together with Aldo Addis and Michela Murgia, president and president emerita of Lìberos, Francesca Casula is part of a multi-institutional roundtable for the implementation of the Italian Ministry for Heritage and Cultural Activities’ National Plan for the Promotion of Reading.
