The inventor of the digital school, she is one of the founders and Vice Chair of the ImparaDigitale Study Centre. A literature teacher and trainer at national level, she is the inventor of and spokesperson for the project “Beyond paper: at school with iPads and e-book readers”. She collaborates with various international institutes such as Unesco and the UN.

In 2009 she was appointed a Friend of the United Nations. She is also spokesperson for the project “Scuola Lombardia Digitale” of the Lombardy regional school office.
