Anna Maria Tammaro

Anna teaches at the University of Parma and is a local coordinator for the international Master in Digital Library Learning, a joint course ran with Oslo (Coordinator) and Tallinn Universities.
She completed a PhD in Information Sciences at the University of Northumbria, a Master in Library and Information Studies at the University of Northumbria and a postgraduate specialisation at the Special School at the University of Rome. She is on the Governing Board of the IFLA and president of the Library Theory Section of the IFLA.
Anna is Vice President of the Humanistic Informatics and Digital Culture Association and of the Tuscany Section of the AIB. Her main areas of research are digital libraries and their impact on education, human sciences and long-distance learning.
