Adriano Fabris teaches Ethics of Communications at the University of Pisa. He is director of the online Masters degree Public Communications and Politics (level I and II) at the University of Pisa. He is also president of C.I.Co.(Interdisciplinary Centre for communication research and services).
He has also published work on subjects that will be discussed during the Festival: Etica della comunicazione (Carocci, Roma 2006), Comunicazione. Tra internet e intercultura (Festival Filosofia/Paginette, Modena 2010), Etica e internet (in S. Di Guardo, P. Maggiolini, N. Patrignani, eds., Etica e responsabilità delle tecnologie dell’informazione, vol. II, Angeli, Milano 2010), and he has edited the volume Etica del virtuale (Vita e Pensiero, Milano 2007).
He wrote the part on Ethical Issues in Internet Communication for The Handbook of Communication Technologies (De Gruyter Mouton, Berlin-New York).
