Giulio De Petra
An expert in technological innovation in public administrations, Giulio De Petra has held management roles in the Italian Central Government and in regional and local Public Administrations, allowing him to gain in-depth experience in this field.
He has held the following positions: Executive Manager at AIPA (Authority for Information Technologies in the Public Administration), General Manager for e-government at the Department of Public Administration of the Council Presidency, Manager of the Local Administration Department of CNIPA (National Centre for Information Technology in the Public Administration), General Manager for Innovation for the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and for the Region of Calabria, Executive Manager of Informatica Trentina, a public company of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
He has also been a member of the Guarantee Committee for Statistical Information of the Presidency of the Council.
He currently cooperates with the Ahref Foundation and is a Fellow of the Nexa research centre of the Turin Polytechnic. He is a coordinator of Astrid Foundation’s research group for the Digital Agenda.
