The conjunction of the passions, experiences and skills of Pietro Olla and Mirko Ariu brings this artistic, gaming, and scientific teaching project to life. Both life-long fans of the circus, one trained as an engineer and the other’s ingenuity comes from experience. With boundless curiosity they have been studying theatre as a tool to communicate and popularise knowledge, for more than 15 years.

Pietro is the engineer; after 8 years of studying and 3 of scientific research, he changed direction and interests in 2002: didactic research into the popularisation of science. The circus is his teaching tool. In 2008 after his Masters in Science Com he created Circoscienze.it. Since September 2014 he has been teaching technology in middle schools.

Mirko is an actor/tightrope walker and has loved theatre since he was a teenager. He discovered a passion for circus arts which led him to study them and learn more about them while travelling the world. His shows typically make use of the virtuosity he has acquired for the purpose of reflection and the popularisation of knowledge.
