Maurizo Masieri

Maurizio-Masieri

Born in Lecce in 1963, he has been employed at CNR IBAM, the Institute for Archaeological and Monumental Heritage of the National Research Council in Lecce since 2001 as Research Institution Collaborator. He provides scientific assistance to the Institute’s research activities, especially within the scope of cultural heritage diagnostics and conservation. A graduate in Modern Literature in 1995 and in Cultural Heritage in 2007, he has been involved in many training courses and theoretical-experimental schools on Scanning Electron Microscopy applied to Cultural Heritage. He is the scientific manager of the “Archaeometry, Diagnostics and Conservation” and “Deterioration Simulation” laboratories of the CNR IBAM Institute of Lecce.
He works on a variety of research projects and carries out teaching and tutoring activities.
