Born in Genoa in 1981, she got a degree in Science of Education with a thesis on the innovative teaching methods of the Scuola della Rinascita boarding schools. After specialising in museum teaching, she worked for almost 15 years in education, testing – especially in her role as teaching method coordinator – the importance of a teaching method that involves a relationship and listening.
At the same time as she was a coordinator she worked as a designer of experiential workshops for children and teenagers, also within the framework of scientific popularisation.
For some years she has coordinated various educational projects in Genoa and the province, with particular attention to the suburbs and to working with second-generation immigrants.
She has recently collaborated in the drafting of the national Arci Pedagogic Manifesto and is part of the team coordinating the childhood and adolescence work group.
She works with Andersen – the Italian magazine about books for children – and with Wired, on whose platform she manages a section connected to childhood, teaching, and schools.
