I was born in Mussomeli (CL) on 27 April 1985. I have nurtured a strong interest in electronics and IT since I was a boy, and for this reason as soon as I gained my diploma as a technician in the electronics industry at the IPIA Archimede in Cammarata, I enrolled on the three-year degree course in Computer Engineering at the University of Palermo in 2005. In March 2010 I continued my studies at the University of Pisa, gaining a specialist degree in Computer Engineering for Business Management. From June 2009 to June 2010 I was the developer and manager of the website Soc.eco.pro. From April 2013 to September 2013 I did an internship at iWell S.r.l., fulfilling the role of developer and designing a system for remote management of lighting systems using the IBM Maximo Asset Management platform. Since January 2014 I have been working as a researcher at the IIT of the NRC in Pisa, looking into aspects relating to Smart Cities.
