Marcos Valdes is a temporary research assistant at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa. After getting a degree in Physics at the Università degli Studi in Florence he gained a PhD at Trieste’s International School for Advanced Higher Studies (SISSA). Then he did research into subjects like dark matter and the first formation of structures in the universe at the “Institute for the Mathematics and Physics of the Universe” (IPMU) in Tokyo and at the Scuola Normale Superiore from 2010, to become a VIS [Virtual Immersions in Science] coordinator in 2013.
